Stabbed her in the back, by putting her up for sale after asking another member if they had the parts needed to get it operational again.

Didn't do a whole lot, but finally got it looking somewhat like a truck. It's only temporary. Still stripping the suspension from the dentside, then have to clean and paint ALOT of parts. AND, I got a gallon of ZeroRust in today too!

Thanks! It's been sitting untouched for the last year, so I'm not moving at a blistering pace or anything. I do have one cab mount to repair, but getting the paint for the chasis is a good start too.

took it to the junk yard for a shopping spree :woohoo: found a ok grill and head light buckets and one plastic filler part for 50 bucks, not to bad for a grill that should clean up well. oh and a window crank handle. The junk yard truck had an A/C unit P/S and front window trim so....... :maybe:

I drove 900 miles for the second time to pick up a cab,2 inner finders and a passenge side fender.the first trip was to pick up a motor and a radiator support from the same place. It rained both trips, but when theres no junkyards with bumps in them for 60 miles of you have to travel to get what you need. i kind of feel like johnny cash building my truck one piece at a time

Don't feel bad. I dumped over a straight six on an engine stand once. In high school. During auto mechanics class.
