You are doing excellent work with that AC I love how it's clean and hidden. Those bulbs look super bright where did you pick them up at? Great job.

thanks Lone Ranger! I picked up the bulbs and the housings off of Ebay. Found some housings that take a standard H3 bulb and bought some H3 LED bulbs. Running LED headlights just makes the wiring cleaner and easier. no need for relays to carry the power to the bulbs. LED's require much less power to work so you can wire them direct to the light switch.

Re: The "Krusty Kab"
Got things cleaned out around the truck getting ready to move it to American Powertrain monday. Going to do the trans install there and size up some exhaust while it's on the rack. I have an old foxbody mid pipe that I am going to see if it will work on these old trucks. Also stuck the gauges in just to see how things are looking.

Im sorry if this has already been said. Are you going to paint the instrument panel to match the red or leave it as is?
Your getting real close. That thing will be on the road in no time.

Going to leave it as is with the black. It would be tough to match the original red color on the inside. Got a lot done this week at American Powertrain. Trans is in now to get a drive shaft figured out. Hydraulic clutch setup is working out. I will try to post some pics later this week of the trans install. Shifter location worked out really well.

Re: The "Krusty Kab"
Trans install is complete. We decided to use the American Powertrain X Factor cross member. the factory cross member might work with an extremely short mount but with the X Factor Cross Member it gives you much more room for exhaust. Fairly easy to get the drive line angle. We did have to work the tunnel up slightly to get enough clearance but it all fits under the factory tunnel without the high hump. If you go 6 speed you will definitely need the high hump. So now American Powertrain can offer you exactly what you need to install a TKO 5 speed in one of these trucks. I am waiting on the driveshaft to get modified to the right length then the drive line is done. The hydraulic clutch setup so far seems to work great. Shift position is good as well. One of the advantages of what American Powertrain can offer is the shifter offset. The TKO offers 3 shift positions but to get it better suited for you, they offer a shifter that can move the shifter handle up to 2 inches in any direction. Puts the shifter right where you want it. Now I need to finish up a few things and get exhaust built. Hopefully on a couple of weeks it will be ready to go.

Re: The "Krusty Kab"
Got the exhaust done this week. Came out pretty good. I had an h pipe for a foxbody with long tubes. The shop built from the headers down to it. Then I had a set of 3" Pypes M80 mufflers to use and then he finished it off over the axle. I used the ball and socket stuff at both ends of the h pipe so I can remove it if needed. Basically like a foxbody only with some crazy bends on the passenger side to clear the frame.
Now need to finish up a little on the battery box, add fluids, O2 sensor, setup ECU and then see if she is going to breath...

Re: The "Krusty Kab"
This is my first post and I just read your whole thread. Love the truck, very impressive job. I wanted to ask you about your hydroboost plumbing. Are you doing high into hydro, high pressure out and into power sreering? Or two separate high pressures feeding each the hydro and steering? I've seen articles online both ways just wondering which way you went.
