Re: bumps with lowered altitude!! (lots of great custom bumps!!)
Hey fordification peeps, I wanted to drop in and say hello and I have a couple really cool pics to share while I'm here. Way back in 2008 when I first started this thread my good friend 427blackpearl (Brad) was one of the first few to post pics of his sweet bump (page 1) although I'm currently bumpless and Brad nor I are active on the board we still stay in contact and maintain the friendship that we formed here on the forum. Brad still has Ol pearl and today he sent me a couple updated pictures of her and her new rolling stock, I consider her gorgeous eye candy, what do y'all say?

The Pearl has always been a favorite of mine. Motivated me to lower my '69 and I love the ride so much more than stock. The Pearl looks even better now... Tell Brad I said "Good job." Thanks for posting the pics td.td wrote:Hey fordification peeps, I wanted to drop in and say hello and I have a couple really cool pics to share while I'm here. Your very welcome Lee_ford. Brads truck has always been a favorite of mine as well. I traveled from my home here in the west end of TN to to Brads home in Knoxville a few years back and visited with him and enjoyed the f100 supernats with him (when they were still having them there) and I can tell you for sure, old pearl is just as sweet in person.

Hey 70shortwide,Thought I'd share this pic with ya since you have a similar picture of yours posted here. This was a few years ago and it to was an actual stop, 68mph in a 50mph zone if my memory serves me correctly and yes I got a ticket! I remember the troopers weird looks when I started snapping pics70shortwide wrote:Exhibition of speed...
I had shared these here way back then

Hackster great looking truck man, I just went through some of your photobucket and you have brought that one a long way!hackster wrote:Still needs a little work to get it on the road but its damn close.
Wheels on it now are just rollers, waiting for the Rushforth Rated x in 20" Variety to show up in the next few weeks. Hope to debut at GoodGuys in Puyallup next month.

Thanks TD. It has come a long way for sure in just the year since I pulled it home from Southern Oregon. Its titled and registered with current tabs on it now. Runs and moved under its own power for the first time last night. Time to start the shakedown process and get a tune on it. Shooting for mild numbers should easily put down between 650 and 700 at the tires.td wrote:Hackster great looking truck man, I just went through some of your photobucket and you have brought that one a long way!hackster wrote:Still needs a little work to get it on the road but its damn close.

Thanks man, Our trucks look like they have a lot of similarities. I just dont see too many short bed bump sides around. Would be cool to see another one around.
Ill be up there for the entire weekend, come and say hi if you see me.

Sean, I sure will say hi. Trust me mine is no where near the quality of yours and unfortunately it's still in Reno till I can go get it.hackster wrote:Thanks man, Our trucks look like they have a lot of similarities. Man do do you have an awesome truck!! You have one of the very few lowered crews in the entire 95 pages of this thread! Thanks for sharing it with us! O and the extra trim in the front is perfect!
