You mentioned flipped shackles. The stock shackles or a kit. And how much did u cut springs? And could a set of springs 2 inch smaller do the same. Truck has a great look. Love it

Calvin, your truck is very similar to mine, what size tyre and rim combo are you running in the back?Calvin Gunter wrote:Thanks gasnoil, I've since added black D hole rims and tonneau cover since this pic..I'll try to get some pics. soon.
Cheers, Davie.
PS Ignore my very British spelling of tyre, I'm in Scotland!

Hey Davie,
The rear rims are 15 X 10,the tires are 285/70-15 BFG Silvertowne radial T/A.
It's a fender full of tire but it fits.

How much does the half hanger flip lower the rear? Also can someone tell me from experience how much cutting one coil from the front springs lowers the front? Or two coils.

Re: bumps with lowered altitude!! (lots of great custom bumps!!)
Hey guys I'm a newbie, my 14 year old son just bought a 1969 short bed. I've looked at almost all this post and we decided that we like the look of td's red truck with the 10 inch steel wheels on the back. I would like to know the setup of his old truck and advise, because this is my first bump. Thanks in advance for help and info.

Your red truck is very nice!!!!! i was wanting to know how much of a drop do you have on your truck? i also was woundering what size wheels are you running on the rear and if you are running a stock rear end? I have a 68 and im wanting to drop it and run some wheel with a deep lip but im scared they will rub my outer finder.
