This is how me and a friend installed the floor pans on my '68. It's really not that hard to do.

Im real cheep so I just go to the wreckers and cut the floor off a 79 cab they work well and the front cab mounts come with a plastic splash guard that covers the hole mount area. around here they are plentiful and a hole floor is yours for around $60 mounts included.

Tools required:
1) 4" grinder with cut off wheels to cut out all of the bad rot.
2) Good pair of tin snips to trim down replacement pans.
3) Welder (Mig, Tig, Gas, Etc.) to weld in replacement pans.
4) Something to cover bare metal on floor once all welding is done. New rust will set in quick if you dont at least seal it with primer.
I recommend an epoxy primer and then coat floor with Hurculiner. Looks good and helps insulate cab from heat and noise.
