Billet floor shifter bezel? Need 4x4 boot dimensions

OK, finally some progress. Been though a lot of grief on this one. Built a fixture, but I didn't like how it turned out and then my hard drive crashed last week and I lost the CAD files.

Now I have a working puter again and the parts to build another fixture. I really hope to be cutting metal within a week or so...

I'll try to get some drawings up and maybe even get out to find a 4x4 boot.

I need some help with the 4x4 boot so I can do up a bezel for them as well as the 4 speed... I need some good pics with the hole positions and demensions or a loaner that will get the sender a freebie bezel.

I'm doing the 4 speed over again now and hope to be in the metal over Labor day.

You need just the boot or the bezels themselves???

Mike, just the boot for the 4x4. I didn't know Ford made a bezel for them. Do you have a pic?

I have the 4 speed already and just didn't want to fight the ragweed to get one at the junk yards.

Sorry went out of town. I will look for them in the morning. I thought there were bezels around my high boys trans shifter and 4x shifter. But I tore it down over a year ago.

if Mike can't find his i have a 4x4 boot i ain't using yet.

thought i'd get the crew together this month but now looks like feb march before i could start might start cleaning parts during the winter, all the small wears that is.

If I had mine I would send it to you... Unfortunantly I had a bad case of POS Mechanic. It is a nasty disease that effects your bump the worst. Next thing you know your Tranny, and Transfer Case are laying in the bed of the truck in a hundred different pieces, and all you wanted was a clutch put in. But I am still on the list of buyers!!! Because that POS Mechanic syndrome cause the disapearance of mine.

Cool, been working one the mounting fixture the last few evenings. Let me know if and when you find the 4x4 boot.
