No one has been happy with their dash pads. Your not alone. Anyone on here who bought one had the same complaints. It stinks when you've been had. :o

And do you think ever one will see that :? NOOOOOOOOO.

It might say it there BUT NO MATTER WHAT IT NEEDS TO BE ON THE PACKING SLIP. Thats where they messed up!! And it shud say that under ever truck part they have. I might be 19 years old but im not stupid

well if you get stuck with it you could ebay it or. you could take it inside and get it warm enough to stetch when you are trying to put it on. one of the guys was able to do that and make his fit. i do remember reading that. my self i wouldnt worry about being two inches from the windshield. it hard to get stuff back when it rolls up there anyway.. how many times have you seen tooth picks and pencils and the odd screw or so logged up close to the windshield beacause the dash pad is so close.

Well I talkd to my mom and she is going to call sence she knows how I am  . My mom knows the head guy of the card I put the dashpad on and its a brand ya see ever day, So if she has to she just going to call him and have him fix all of this
If I need to I'll just call one of my friends thats one of the U.S Senate to see what he says.

Now if I put it on my moms card she can just protest it and I woud get my money back for sure. We have to go out of town tonight so we will have to call cal mustang from the road.

2 inches off is a long ways. It looks really bad from the out side even worse inside. If I did a few other things the truck woud be a show room job. So I've got to get a dashpad as close as the old I can. I'll call Npd for a dashpad when I get the money, As much money as I spent there and talkd to the guys I wont have one problem.

Sorry for going on and on and on about all of this!

Wish me luck :o

Some people look to get a bit of their money back any way they can and they don't care who they hurt in the process.

I try to remember to do unto others as I would have them do unto me (not as others HAVE and WILL do unto me). This way of looking at things really does seem to work well.

Think of how much you felt like you were taken advantage of by California Mustang. I've heard many horror stories about people getting the shaft on e-Bay too. I guess I have been fortunate so far.

E-Bay serves as a dumping ground for some people, and it also allows people that don't know what they have to list and sell it incorrectly to unsuspecting bidders that are hoping the seller knows more than they do about an auction item.

We all get taken from time to time. You learn from it and try not to make the same mistakes again in the future.

I'm sure we all work hard for our pay too. Working around a budget is the pits.

Up 'til about a year ago it was tight being a single parent and making ends meet. That ended when my daughter moved in with her boyfriend and I now have play money left out of each paycheck for myself and my projects.

One way or another things will work out.

Another note, in regard to reproduced chassis and some electrical parts lets not forget that Scott Drake does a pretty good job with their reproductions also. I have seen their reproduced upper and lower control arms with the original 4 bolt upper ball joints for 60s Mustangs and I have seen several other parts they have re-made that are so close to original they are hard to tell apart.

I believe some 60s pickup parts I have seen have also been Scott Drake reproductions but when I'm standing at the counter at National Parts Depot my blinders are on for what I am there for, not what I could add to the bill.

Well we call cal!! on monday! The frist word we used was DEFECTIVE!!!
Told the guy it did not fit rite, There was a 2inch gap by the windshild 7 pinholes in the dash, In the studs did not line up!!!
Funny thing is he said no one has ever had any problems with them befor  OHHHHHH BOY!!!!!  I guess I was just the unluckey one!!

So he gave us the Authorization Code and we sent it back today and he said it will take 15 days to get my money back 8)

I've never had any problems with NPD. There was my doorpanles and my visors thats it. Door panels they had listed wrong, No big deal. Visors did not fit tight on the rod. But I calld my buddy there and they had the ups truck come and get the stuff, Befor the ups truck got the stuff I all ready had my new doorpanels and the visors they sent me then about 5 days after that ups pickd up my old ones. Guy is really nice he will go in the back and open up ever thing I order and make sure its good and the rite part. So I'll have no problems with NPD.
