That looks really sweet...
Isn't that a metal '67 style panel?
I know the '68 and later ones are plastic.
They would probably look just as nice as yours if painted that way.

This is the plastic one.
Hard part was of course, taping it up, lots of corners and curves. I had to tape three times to get all the gray in. You cant see it but its gray under the overhang also.
I will try to take a better outdoors pic tomorrow.
