I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

It could have been a 61, I never checked that. All I cared about was it was for a 67-72 and the tag said 3.31 ratio. Hawkrod

re: probably don't belong here but here gos!
3.54 was the tallest that ford sold for the
dana 60's of this vintage...I've never seen
a listing for a 3.31 ever for dana 60 in
ford trucks. But....They did use dana 60's in
other vehicles , including large chrysler cars,
etc...So dunno about those. There is an
aftermarket 3.33 gear for the dana 60 that
can be bought. But ford never sold it...
I'd never seen the 3.33 listed as a 3.31,
but it's so close, as to be the same ratio nearly..
Not sure about the dana 61...I always thought
the ratios in the 61 were basically the same as the
60's...This thread is the first I'd ever heard of a
3.31 ratio for dana 60/61, not saying that really
means much though....

3.25 My new(used new) Rearend is 3.25:1 and lim slip so if i do light them up i'd go sideways.
. Unfortunately for some reason uknown to all the bolts for the u joint back there are welded to the darn thing probly good solid center punch get them out with little or no damage though. And it is a 9" er.
So when i swap the beds around i'll have to find a place to set 'em both for a few minutes(couple of hours) While we swap the entire rear suspension. Any thoughts on that do i need to keep the rear of truck of the ground to get it right. Or a little on the ground?
