Thanks, I'll give that a shot. I WD40'd the control valve, but the cable is still tough. Plus the knob comes off every time I try to pull on the Temp knob :x

once you get the cable fixed. i probably have one if you need it. btu you can retighten the knob with an allen wrench. so it wont come off any more.
