Re: BiggDogg's First Show Entry
The original grille shell was pretty beat up, and a replacement wasn't in the budget, so decided to paint it. Needed new grille inserts, so decided to go with the billet ones.fordman wrote:what did you do to that grille?

Re: BiggDogg's First Show Entry
Thanks for all the nice comments guys. Like I said, my truck like most of yours is for working and driving, not showing. Heck there was still evidence of that in the bed from the last trip to home depot The show was a lot of fun though.
That GT 500, wow! It was so beautiful. There was a new one (2008 maybe?) with same paint scheme parked right next to it. I'm assuming same owners, but didn't find out for sure.

what kind of prep work did you do before you painted it? what kind of primer and paint did you use?

Thats a lot of nice rides, and your pickup is looking good. Its strange to see a outdoor car show in December though.

Re: BiggDogg's First Show Entry
I know! I actually have a few oldies that I've been playing around with, trying to decide what to do. Since I painted the grille white, white wheels, white tailgate, white trim around the fenders, I have this as a possibility:91Bear wrote:Big Dog needs her hood badges.
