Nice truck,

It's been a fairly time consuming to trace the wiring to match up the instruments, especially since my 71 only had idiot lights. I have everything working except the oil pressure gauge. I still need to figure out what is keeping the gauge from working... sender?, wiring?, bad gauge?

How does the oil pressure guage work on these things? Does it have a hot going to the gauge and the sender completes the ground and its a resistance thing for the needle or is it something else? I dunno, mine works but I'm still gonna pull the dash tonight so when I wire in my tach, rerun the speaker wires and monkey with my fuel gauge I can clean up any wiring back there that needs done. I'm sure with process of elimination you can figure out whats going on with your oil pressure gauge. Good luck, and nice truck.

I got my fuel gauge working yesterday testing it like it said to do on one of the tech pages here, thought I saw where it said you could test the oil pressure gauge in a similar way, man was I off on how they work lol .
Good luck,

Man that looks awesome! I assume you did the interior paint on your own. Did you use the Duplicolor spray paint or what. Next week I am going to start painting the interior on mine!

Stock seat frame, but it was recovered with custom material. I met a very affordable hispanic upholstery guy that let me pick out the materials and pattern from a huge selection of upholstery books. Then, he did the work, which included fixing a couple of springs and installing new foam, all for the low price of $300 bucks. I'm really happy with the results.

Bench re-upholstery+foam+some spring repair for only $300, damn! Had to re-read that a couple times. The truck looks amazing. I wonder if there is a tech article on a F600 dash conversion. Anyone know?

Great work. Could you comment on the guages and cluster. It doesn't look stock, but it looks very nice.
