The biggest thing I see is you are using "OK" jack stands. Please do us all a favor and go buy two sets of Harbor Freight 3 Ton Steel Jack Stands Item #61196. They are $25 a set and could save your life or at a minimum save your rig from getting damaged. I have several sets of these and a set of Craftsman ones and they are all good quality. Buying from Harbor Freight is OK, just look at what you are buying and how it will be used.

I have also found a slide hammer to be pretty damn useful at times!

Well, my tools had to expand and I wasted some money. Bought a 2 ton floor jack/jack stand combo from NAPA. jack stands are useful, but the jack, not so. Short handle and not enough umph. Ended up getting a 3-ton jack (at OReilley's on a Saturday afternoon in a little town - not a good price at $200). But it sure helped. And ended up deciding that 6 floor stands are pretty useful. Using two on the back, two on the front and and use the other two for holding things up (like Ibeams) while I try to remove them.
Picked up a brake line kit from NAPA to support my conversion from front drum to front disc (my first major project on the truck).
Bought an inexpensive (read Harbor Freight), 1/2 inch electric impact wrench. Sure makes pulling lug nuts nice. But the impact socket set did not have the right size for the lug nuts, so currently using my Craftsman socket for that . Sure it is not warranted for use with impact wrenches.
Added an inexpensive (HF) vacuum gauge.

Added a couple of more things - brake line bender and former, tie-end puller, tabletop press. Obtained a mightvac as well to assist me in bleeding the brake lines.
