I think that looks way cool. I just wouldn't have any real use other than cruise it. What's it need to be street legal? I guess the title might be a start and then there's the brake llights. I'd buy it just for those wheels. I'd be able to trade up, down or accross for son wheels that fit my 1 1/2 ton truck.

I like it too!!! He most likely does have air brakes, but not connected with the pickup brakes, necessarily... we had a hookup on a friend's pickup for moving our logging trailers, and just ran the brakes from a separate hand valve. The tires and wheels are about 6-700 worth, and the 5th wheel is worth about $350 or so... it's definately a conversation piece!!! If I ran reefers or flats, it would be well worth the money, just to not have to start the truck and unhook/hook to move a trailer for maintenance or loading in the yard..and the short turn radius of the pickup would be a big plus!
Like I said... I LIKE IT!!!!

I have to agree....that IS very unique! Now....if you were to take a crewcab frame and just plop a standard cab on it, you could actually build a mini-semi by having room to add the second set of duals....and maybe a mini-sleeper behind the cab....with a to-scale set of exhaust stacks?

Of course, then you'd have to whip up a smaller 5th-wheel version of a flatbed, one that could be used as a drive-on car hauler....I'm thinking maybe room for three?

That has to be a bargain. 950.00 won't buy much of anything worth bragging about anywhere.

I don't think it has air brakes, even for the trailer. He says in the ad that he installed an air tank, but no mention of a compressor and it looks like there is only one air line so there is no service brakes, just air pressure to release the emergency brakes.
I've seen adaptors for forklifts set up this way, just a fifth wheel and an air tank to release the brakes so the trailer can be moved around.
