I couldn't locate those Exide's... at least, not online.

I did find this one (official battery of Nascar):

78DT-M108** 12V 770CCA 950CA 120RC

http://marathon.exide.com/battery.aspx
or
http://extreme.exide.com/

Hard to find, though... lousy market penetration for a battery that is affiliated with something as big as NASCAR.

Almost all the batteries in this country are built by 3 companies, Johnson Controls, Exide or Deka. They all label batteries for many different companies. Delco went bankrupt and was bought by Johnson Controls. I work for Exide.
The high cranking amp batteries are OK for rigs that get used every day, but aren't so hot for something that sits for long periods. They will go dead faster just sitting than a lower CCA battery because there isn't as much acid in them. All the space is taken up by plates. They also have higher warrenty rates because the plates are much closer together which makes it easier to short out. The Nascar and Marathon batteries are available at all CSK stores(Checker, Schucks, Kragen) Nascar batteries are sold at NAPA.
Make sure you are comparing apples to apples. CCA's are cranking amps at 0 deg F. CA's are cranking amps at 32 deg. F. RC is reserve capacity. That is how many minutes the battery can put out 25 amps before it gets down to 10.4 volts. Most batteries that say 1000 amps is the CA rating, which is about 20% higher than the CCA rating. It's real hard to get 1000 CCA out of an automotive size case. They just can't get enough plates in there.
