My 1968 already had a reinforced hole (threaded and everything) for the shoulder belt. I'm guessing yours doesn't? But you can see that behind the sheet metal is a place to drill and tap a hole.fireguywtc wrote:2 questions. How does the shoulder belt bolt into the metal up top by the rear window? This is something I would definetly want to do on my 67, however I thought the metal was too weak to hold up on the top part of the shoulder belt. I was thinking about getting a seat from a newer truck that have the seatbelts intergated into them since the seats are reinforced to accomidate the seatbelts in a crash. But I beat those kind of seats are expensive and would take away from the classic interior look. But for me it's safety first.
