Body swap to a 4x4

My f150 has a c6 automatic with 400 in it. The f250 has automatic (I assume c6) and 390 in it.

I don't know what frame perches a 400 takes so hard to say what you will need to bolt in the 400 in place of the 390. They are 2 different engine family's and you'll probley have to change a lot to make a 400 work. Would be a lot simpler to find a different 390 to put in the truck.

I don't mean to butt in but but I have a 77 f150 2wd. I have come across a 76 f250 4x4 truck with no bed,shot cab, bad motor, good trans good transfer case. Can I just put my body and motor on the 250 frame to have 4x4?

Otherwise than the high/low hump issue the body is a straight swap.
