Driveshaft install

Post by kentdaryl »

This may be a goofy question but I've seen 4x4 driveshafts installed two ways. First with the slip joints
Daryl towards the transfer case, and secondly with the slip joints toward the diff's.
Which way did they come from the factory? Which is "proper" or preferred?

Slip at the T-case end is proper.
