Horn bar wires

Post by f26yrn04558-72 »

Can any one tell me where the two wires from the horn bar go on the steering wheel 72 camper spec. I know one goes on the clip ont the right side, but I cant find where the one that looks like a spring is supposed to go. The bar is new, I wonder if their is a part missing or broken off the wheel?

That's what I thought. But there is only one post to attach the one wire with the female plug. The horn works when the other wire is touching metal on the wheel, or the steering shaft. But there is no way to attach it.

That's the ground wire. It's not actually 'attached' to anything. It just inserts into the threaded hole in the steering wheel hub...the one you'd thread a bolt into to attach a steering wheel puller.
