I think that's the only style of ford floor mat offered. I've bought several from several different parts houses and they're all the same. Not nearly as nice as the factory floor mat, but beats carpet. The ones that he's selling in that auction are for the small hump trucks. I think just the 3 on the tree trucks were that way. If you have a 4 speed or an auto don't buy that floor mat.

Instead of the mat Id recommend scuffing the bare floor of the cab and rolling on a gallon of Hurculiner.
It insulates, sound deadens, looks pretty good, and wears better than any mat for any price.
Did it to mine and love it.

I'm with sharkdance. The Herculiner works out well although I intend to cover it "some day." Here's a photo.

Thats not a bad idea

That way you know what is there (not dirt or mosture under the mat)

Here is mine before I put the interior back together.
And a couple of the Hurculiner being rolled on.
The boy is my son. (11 yrs old then) and my primary helper for this project.
The pix were taken after the first coat. While we were waiting to roll the second coat.

The Hurculiner works out well. You can leave it as is or cover it with carpet if you want. And as MadMaxetc just said, you dont have to worry about moisture collecting and rotting out your floor boards. Especially if you do the bottom side of your cab too.

Looks good, but I'll still take a floor mat. Spray in/roll on bedliner/non-skid products wear alot quicker than a rubber mat will. If you don't drive the truck much it'll look good for awhile, but after 10K miles or so you'll see exactly where your feet sit and after 30K or so you'll be down to metal. I've got one of the above mentioned floor mats in a truck that I've put 160K miles on and the spots where my feet sit are only about 1/2 way worn through the mat.

I've never thought the herculiner/ line-X type products hold up as well as they claim and once it's damaged it's not easy to make it look good again without redoing the whole area.

With a mat you do still have to pull the mat up and clean under it now and then, but with a good prep and paint job on the floorpans you won't have rust problems.

Painting the underside of the cab with that stuff does the same thing as undercoat. Hides the rust and holds moisture in.

I like that roll on liner thought...then add the carpet/ rubber matting of choice.

I am thinking I will apply the method Sharkdance did to his...top and bottom, and then add the rubber matting.

I just pulled out my rubber mat and it was still decent, but I prefer carpet over the mat.
