plug and play

Post by 71 LONG BED »

After looking at this picture, it looks to me like an F600 gauge panel is a plug and play on the '67s. Is it safe to assume the plugs are wired the same? I could just swap in F600 gauges without rewiring a new plug in the harness? That would be too easy not to do.

The wiring is different. You need to verify that the wires go to the correct termination points and that the other devices are correct. My F600 panel needed to be changed. I will take a harness from a F100 and install on the F600 panel so I get the correct wiring and other devices.

The plug on the 67-69 gauges, sure look the same as the one on the back of the f600 panels...
