new instrument cluster
I just got a new cluster panel. It's metal and I am not sure what year vehicle it came from .. I got it on eBay. I don't know why I have a chrome one from a F-600. But this one intrigued me .. It's all metal and has not been modifiyed.

That panel was used in the '67-'69 baseline and some Custom Cab models. The Ranger models had the plastic bezel, which could also be ordered on the Custom Cabs. The '67 panels were white, the '68-'69 panels were silver.

i like the metal ones better myself, you can do more with them than the plastic ones.if the plastic ones look bad they are not as easy to redo.

you can ford a river or stream and get to the other side, if you dodge it you will not, and if you drive a chevy to the levee it will run dry and the music will die.

The metal ones you can repaint, or chrome. I have never seen a chrome one. hat might look pretty darn good. Do the 'stang gauges really fit in those?!

I have a metal one in really good shape. Its gonna go down the road since I'll be using a 600 cluster or an aftermarket billet one.

Could the plastic one be stripped down and repainted to fit your specific interior design?
For instance, where the wood grain is, strip it off, and paint it to match the interior? Or even logo it...Hmmm!
Of course I don't have one available...when I get back in June...I'll work on it.
