Zero wiring??? WTF
Okay to start you need 2 wires for ignition and one for start and a ballast resistor of .6 ohms.
The battery posi goes to the solenoid side closest to the battery. The starter engage wire hooks to the terminal closest to the battery side of the solenoid. From the other small wire the coil gets a hot shot for starting hook it up to the + side of the coil. Hook up a ballast and wire from the battery to the + side of the coil.
That will get you started.
What year truck do you have?

its a 72 f100 with a 302ci i pretty much understand what you are talking about except the ballast wire what is that and where does it fit in to the scheme of things again. appreciate the help. maybe if you could a drawing would be really helpful I'll draw what i think you said and post it later today. thanks again.
I will post in wanted for a harness but in the mean time i got a house to build and need the truck opperational.
does it matter what gauge wire i use for those different applications?
