I'm using '68 Mustang buckets in my truck and a 5-speed and would like to have some sort of free-standing '60s factory stick console to go with it. I know there's lots of '60s GM stuff that would work, but I'm trying to stay all Ford. I haven't seen any mustang consoles that I like, maybe Comet, Falcon, Galaxie, or ???
Anyone with ideas?

re: Ford muscle car stick console question.
Good idea, Grant. This is something I have been working on. I think the consoles used in the 63 and 64 Galaxie XL would be just rught for these trucks. They are wide at the front and have the look that I think is correct for our trucks. The later ones look too new to fit in with the look. You can be the first. Good luck.

Just a thought, I use to have 68 and 69 AMC Javelins. Most of the parts were ford. Maybe look that route.
