Bench Seat Question

Post by XLT »

I have brought the original seat home with the intention of redo. After looking at it, I am not quite pleased with the overall structure. Can I replace it with a bench seat from a newer Ford truck? Will it fit?

http://www.fordification.com/seats.htm

The mounts just need to be swaped on most. There are something like 4 rivits on each mount. then just use some bolts in there place.

I am about to do this with a 90 bentch.

there is a link to a picture here on page 3

That is a nice seat. Much more support. That is a better seat and probably would be better for my truck. I think I will visit the bone yard.

Do you sit much closer to the steering wheel in the '90 seat?
