Hi,

I am trying to organize my plans for the Old Mare and I am wondering how I'm going to update my dash. It all looks pretty simple, but I would like to add a CD player and a tach. Has anyone put a cd player in one of these trucks? How did you mount it?!

I glanced at LMC to see if they had a convo kit, but I didn't see anything. Possible I missed something. As far as the tach goes, what kind would be good and where should I mount it?! I don't want an in-dash, but I don't want it up on top of the dash like one of them stupid import tuners either.

Probably the most common place to mount the tach is on the steering column. You should be able to find the right position where it doesn't interfere (too much) with reading the gauges. Just get one that has the rounded pedestal, like this:
