F 600 tach

Post by Wes »

Just got a F600 ip from 72highboy 4x4, thanks, I want to put a tach in the right hand side. F100ranger1969 posted Ford part numbers Tach FOMOCO Stewart Warner: D0KF 17360 D
Vac Meter FOMOCO Stewart Warner: D0TE 190529 A, these numbers don't seem to work at SW web site. I haven't tried Ford yet.
So who has added a tach and what did ya use pictures would be greatly appreciated too.
Also has anyone replaced the amp meter w/ a volt meter ??

The factory tach is mechanical. You'll need the dizzy to run it and, unfortunately, they cost many, many, dollars. You could make a bezel to mount an electrical after market one. This is what I did with mine.

yes Wes it was a close to the other gauge look with the exception that it had a narrow chrome bezel on it of which look fine.
