headliner chrome

Is the headliner trim the same for all years? I have a '72 and have found the trim from a '70. Just want to make sure it will fit.

It'll fit. Should be the same on all from 67-72

'67-'69 are a 6-piece set and '70-'72 are a 4-piece set. The early trim has separate rear corner pieces (accounting for the extra 2 pieces) whereas the newer trim has the rear corner brackets as a integral part of the side pieces. The trim sets are interchangeable for all years though.

Kieth you sure are up on these trucks. I would have said that they were all the same myself. Which trim level got the chrome? I have a set of the chrome ones I am thinking about using.

Usually the way it goes is that the cool stuff like this chrome headliner trim would've been standard in the top-end trim levels (all Ranger and Ranger XLT) and optional with the middle trim levels (Custom Cab and Sport Custom). The base models would've gotten the painted versions.
