Gas tank question

Do you have to remove the seat to install the in cab tank?

I've never had to remove the seat to R&R a tank.
I just pull the seat all the way forward and then fold the back forward. Seems to be enough space.
The seat on my '69 F-100 however had torxs head bolts i had to pull out before the back of the seat would fold forward.

no you dont have to remove the seat. i havent ever pulled a seat out before

i pulled the bench seat out of my 71 to put the seat cover on correctly and to clean out the area under the seat which is now covered in parts of the seat again. taking it out was not hard and im only 13. so it would be even easier for you guys.

only 13 huh i got my bump when i was 15,, been driving it ever since ,,,i turned 47 this year :fr:

i got mine when i was 12 for free from a neighbor. that would be awsome if i kept it forever. dont know if i will though because i might sell for a bumpside 4x4.
