Mystery under dash connection

Does anybody have any idea what this is supposed to connect to? It is behind the instrument cluster on the left side. It is two brown wires. Thanks-- :fr:

Correction--4 brown wires going into one connector. The gold colored metal at the bottom of the PIC is the headlight switch.

I believe that is the connector for the wire to turn on the Roof / Marker Lights relay if you had roof lights. It would be (U) in this diagram http://www.fordification.com/images/sch ... arkers.jpg
I know it doesn't look the same in the diagram but the colors are correct, you could put a test light on it to confirm...

I'm not "Brand Loyal" Ford-Chevy-Dodge-Toyota I have them all, one even cross mixed...
If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...
