New Source/Alternative for door weatherstrip

Post by spartman »

I was goofing round yesterday and happened to have a door weatherstrip that came from a mid 80's ford and thought, why not.

Put it on my bump like it was made for it. Only thing I had to do was trim it at the ends, otherwise a perfect fit.

I now have a nice sealing door and I didnt need to glue it in.

Just thought you should know.

PS I will get pics for ya when I get my camera back from the mrs.

I knew somebody here had used some off an exploder but wasnt sure if the stuff from the pickups was the same.

Now we have two options to look at.

that stuff is relly not truck specific. what i mean is that that stuff is used on alot of different cars and trucks. it can be gotten in rolls from the parts stores. thats the way it comes from anyone else i heard. just in rolls. its not prebent or anything like that.
