Billet floor shifter bezel? Need 4x4 boot dimensions

Guaging interest in making some bezels that would fit over the factory shifter boot, but would be stepped so the carpet or floot matt edge would be covered by the bezel. I put on of these on my '93 mustang and am thinking about one for the truck once I get that far. Probably 2-3 months down the road.

I would be defiantly interested in one if/when you start making them. Just to clarify these would be for the fokes with 4 speeds correct?

I like your work thus far and any parts that you make i will be on board 100%. I hope to have a stock pile of parts at home waiting for me when i get back to the states so i will have something to do to the old truck.

How about a radio bezel for after market radios? i know we have the installation kits now but i would like something that looks a bit more factory and fits a bit better than what i have now. The black plastic just looks out of place in a sea of steel and chrome. Just a thought.

I am very happy with my light bezel You do great work. I like the idea of the aftermarket radio bezel as well.

I've thougt a lot about the radio bezel. I could do something there if I got a Tig setup to weld aluminum. Doing a straight machine job from a solid billet of stock is going to be expensive and wasteful to cut down a 2" x 3" chunk. I am going to fab one up for my double DIN 2005 Explorer CD player, but since it sits much lower on the dash the part doesn't have to be very deep.

Revisiting this for interest. The Dome light bezel kits and the ash tray pull as made and I have time to play with a boot trim ring. Gotta make some sketches tomorrow. Ironically each project I do I'm learning more and more about machining and making parts so the parts will get better and more complex as we go.

Take a look at the Dentside 4WD transfer case shifter ring...
It would be nice if you could make a matching set for the 4WD & floor shift tranny shifters.

I came to this thread to also say I would be interested, but it would be nice if you could do it for the 4x4 shifter as well. I am with 71PA I would like for them to match
