Okay, I am not sure where to post this, so I am posting it here.
The 67-72 F-series look larger and heaver than the 61-66 series. However are they really?
Was there any weight and size increase or decrease between these two series? I can find sizes and weights for the 67-72 series here, however I cannot find any for the previous series.

re: 61-66 vs. 67-72 weight and size
Just for comparison purposes, the shipping weight on a '66 F100 SWB styleside with a 6-cylinder was 3210 pounds. A '67 of the same configuration was 3265. The wheelbase on the LWB trucks was increased from 129" in '66 to 131" in '67, so that added about 100 pounds extra to those trucks.
