removal of coat hooks inside cab.

how do you get that black hook off of the interior wall of the cab? its right next to the 3-point-seat belt grommet.

If I remember right the black rubber peice slips off to reveal a plastic peice with a screw in it. But you may want to wait until someone comes in here that can say for certain this is how they work.

Yes... I believe you can slowly slide in an upwards direction, and it should just pop right off eventually. The plastic piece it sits on tends to be a little on the fragile side (at least in my truck) so be gentle when sliding the black rubber piece off...

i have tried to get those off. and i havent ever been able to do it. so they went to the junk with the rest of the cab.

how easy are they to put in then? maybe i can brake this one off for truck painting, and then install a new one?
