Ign resistor rating

Does anyone know what the resistor rating is(ex-1.5k ,1/2 watt)etc for 67 ign circuit.I am thinking around 1.4k cant remember the wattage though.Gotta install one on my 67 since the previous owner bypassed the factory wire without running a resistor,Einstein huh.

Did the PO have a Pertronix II installed? If not and the resistor is bypassed, I'd go ahead and drop one of those puppies in and not worry about it...

These Resistors are very high wattage which is why they look - are made like they are, a standard type resistor wont work for this...
