Keyless Entry System

Post by towens »

I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me how I can tell if my '95 Mustang has a keyless entry system. I would like to purchase a remote for the car but don't want to buy something for it that doesn't work.

Wow, does that same sequence work with the keyless entry systems of the '91 - '93 Explorers or is this only for the 94 and up Fords? I have found keyless remote after keyless remote in cars at the wrecking yard, and grabbed every one I have seen. None have done anything with the Limited Explorer I have. I haven't seen anything in the Explorer owner's manual about it so it might not apply to the older ones. Back then there could have been a supplement manual for this ooption though, like the sound systems have.

If I remember I will give this a try, maybe tomorrow.

Thanks for the info.

They are all different in respect to the number of times you cycle the key to enter the programming mode!
I know 99 our Exp was 10 times.
This information is furnished to you by the "better" sellers of the "pats" programmable keys.
