which is very scary at night, but would it be the switch or the harnesses. i missed out on 390nut's harnesses but i will buy one when he gets time to make em again in the future.
but they were going off and on last night on the way home and i dont wanna get pulled over or worse hit something, my marker and taillights remained lit. just the HL's were shutting off and on.
is this the same problem you guys were having when you discussed blinky headlights?

check the contacts in the back of the switch, that may be part of your problem also.

Check at the headlight dimmer switch as well. That connection is pretty notorious for getting loose.

90% chance it's the headlight switch itself, 10% chance it's connections at the headlight or dimmer switches.
edit: 9% chance it's at the headlight or dimmer switches, and 1% chance it's one of the terminals at the headlights shorting out (the terminals on the back of the headlamps can break loose)

Is it a uniformed on/off, like off for an equal amount of time each time? If so, you have a short to ground drawing too much current, headlight circuits use a self reseting breaker instead of a fuse for this exact situation. If a fuse blew it would be lights out. A breaker will cycle for safety. So look for frayed or rubbed through wires and you'll find your problem.
