The previous owner cut the door panels to put in some speakers and they just looked out of place. So I decided to make some sort of cool thingamabob to improve the looks.

This is the before pic of the door. See the fancy speaker stands out a little.

We had some extra Aluminum Diamonplate layin around so I figured "why not?" This is a pic of a rough layout of where I want it to go. (I cut these panels out with shears so my hands are killing me

After it was the right shape I layed out and cut the hole needed for the speakers.

Because the door was already cut I didnt feel bad about drilling holes to use rivets. Otherwise I might have used double sided tape like on the cool door sill pieces I made previously. (My new seat belt retractor made it in this photo, thanks Ryan)

After I trimmed the hole to fit the speaker I decied where to put the rivets that hold the panel on. I drilled the holes, lined 'em up and put a rivet gun to the door.
I have a pic of the rivets up close but we all know what they look like

So I rivited the panel on and screwed the speaker back in and bam, all done.

I think that it turned out pretty good, not that I'm pattin myself on the back or anything
