I am wanting to install a drivers side shoulder belt in my '69. I have removed the factory bench seat and installed a light weight racing style seat. I still can use the lap belt but the local drag strip keeps telling me that they would like to see me wear a shoulder belt for better safety. Has anybody installed a retractable shoulder belt in their truck? What year truck did you get the shoulder belt from? Any other info and pics will be greatly appreciated.

I think there is a nice new set for around $170-200 if I recall, someone sent me the info. But, I found a set out of a mid-90s wrecked F150 for $5 that I washed up with Purple Power and installed in mine and can't be happier. I did have to cut off a large spike on the backside of the reel where the container fit deeper into the body area of the newer truck and you can now physically SEE the reel, which was recessed into the body and covered in plastic on the newer truck, but it doesn't aggravate me.

I thought about using the retractable belts from my 81, but the retractor part is up above. I looked at my buddy's 92 GMC belts, and they look like they would bolt right in. Just haven't been able to convince myself to put GM parts in my Ford.
I think the belt setup from my 92 F-150 would work too, but wouldn't look as good as the GM setup.

Maybe I'm too late but I got a set of retractable belts for my sons 69 short box from Autoloc and the worked great.
