Gas Tank

I have a 1972 pickup and have taken all visible bolts,wires,lines loose and the tank does not want to come out is it just stuck or am i missing some bolts some where.Barberdon

the 70-72 tanks have five bolts across the top of it. and two on the bottom. then you loosen the filler neck rubber at the tank. and then i open the passenger door and lift the tank from that end. it could be rusty and sticking to the fuel tank mounts under the tank. you might have to pry a slight bit but not enough to dent or damage the tank. also wiggling it from front to back may help break loose any unseen rust.
