OMG that is so true. I'm originally from MD and the inspection process is the most nightmarish thing you ever can go through if you buy a used car. They will require repairs that are worth more than the car!67F250CS wrote:That thing would haver passed Maryland inspection. Forgive me but these are the most anally retentive inspectors I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I had a Pontiac 6000 that was in near perfect shape. Just about had to replace the " Body mounts " The inspector said they were dry rotted and cracked. I was pissed. How am I going to remove a whole body to replace the rubber mounts. I looked for other ways to do it and had an idea. I just kept spraying the 1 crack I did find with WD-40 until it swelled the rubber enough to close the tiny split. Well 80 dollars later ( The inspection fee !! ) it finally passed.
Sorry for the rant.
That's when you start taking names and asking for the supervisor.cobraF100 wrote: They just looked at my Truck and said "NO" that didn't come in that Truck. Then they start pointing out that I have to change the engine back to original plus make it stock again.....
