70 mach 1- 3 point seat belts

Does anybody know if 70 Mach 1 Mustang 3 point seat belts will bolt right in a 71 F100? Arnt seat belts seat belts ,I myself would think it wouldnt matter my
I hope some one can answer this because I found some in good shape.that match my color.

i think on belts like that length would be the main thing to think about. and those could be long enough or a little longer than a truck would need. so you may be able to use them.

I've tried new model ones that are too short. They might very well fit fine, but length would be the major concern.

You could probably Ebay those Mach I belts to a Mustang Freak & pay for a cool pair of aftermarket 3 Point Belts like these:

The 3 point belts will bolt up just fine.

That doesn't mean they will work well. The big issue as I see it is the center receiver. There is nothing to hold it in place (on the seat where you can clip in easily) if at all...

I agree, ebay the mach1 stuff (They are 70 Mustang ONLY), and get a pair of aftermarket seatbelts. The retractors will be more robust, you can get them with the reinforced receivers on stalks (so they 'Sit-Up' between the seats) and often are available in more color combos.
