I am having a prob with my turn signal, seems that my left hand turn works fine, but get nothing out of the right hand side. My E-flashers work fine, so I am thinking the switch is bad. I got the switch with the PS column I bought, so I know nothing about the history of it. I did replace the cancel cam because of the usual broken ears. I have tried wiggling all the wires and still get nothing.
So all that said, is there anything else I can try before I have to cough up the money for a new switch?
Thanks!
Turn signal problem...

Re: Turn signal problem...
another thing does the blinker light in the dash blink if so then the switch is ok. If not then you might want to try putting a test light on the wire coming out of the switch from the column to see if there is voltage there if you have voltage then it is either a broken wire to that side or a bad ground on that side of the vehicle

Re: Turn signal problem...
The dash indicators both work with the e-flashers on, but nothing with the right hand turn on. No flasher click, no dash lights, no outside lights. So I am assuming the switch must be bad. I tried the wires again today and nothing different. All my dash wires have been cleaned up and are all working perfect except for this little problem

recheck your connections with the turn signal cam you put on. that is a common deal to go bad when that has been repaired.

In order for both front a back signal lights to work right the canceling cam has to make contact with both the front and the rear wires at the same time...
Sometimes if you wiggle the signal lever, it will connect with both contacts and make the lights both work...
I replaced mine with an after market one from National Parts Depot, I have had nothing but trouble with it...
Sometimes the right front light will work and the rear one won't... other times the rear one will work and no front one..
Sometimes, they actually both work...
