I have a turn signal switch for my '71 F100 column and it has two spring/metal stud contacts for the horn button. I just received the new turn signal switch in the mail today and it just has onecontact . How many does yours have?
Thanks,
agouge

Re: How many spring/stud contacts for the horn button?
Should only have one. The 67-72 ford columns only have one contact for the horn (wire to the horn relay) and the 73-79 trucks have 2 contacts for the horn, one for the wire to the horn relay and one to ground. It should also have the "emergency flasher" switch in the column, where the 67-72 is in the clove box or on the dash.
Post a picture of the column you have or you can also look for a part number on your old switch or the column to figure out what year it is. If someone before upgraded to the newer power steering they probably used the newer steering column to go with it.
Should look something like this for 67-72 (only not broken )
