anybuddy want custom battery hold downs

Post by customcrewcab »

my buddy and i make these custom battery hold downs for the mustang shop here in arizona. i think it would be cool to have some for are 67-72 ford trucks. but i am not sure what to put in the middle. the ones for the mustang have the horse. if you guys have any ideas let me know. these ones are cut out with a water jet but theres a cnc at my buddies shop. the only thing the cnc will cost alittle more to make. i anyone has a design that would be cool in the middle let me know.
thanks

or a plain oval with two holes drilled to mount a blue oval from say a grill emblem from a newer model. Does that make sense? :hmm:

Heep,

The bungee isn't stock. #%$*. I've been looking for part numbers for months and there's never any mention in the description for bungee. Thought I wasn't using the right key word. :D

depends on how i have cut but i think the mustang shop is selling them for 29.00. which is not that bad becuase the stock ones they sell are 20.00. i just did the cad work on them which is what i use to do. . i thought it would be cool to have ones for these for our trucks. maybe a fordication logo? if any one what would be good to put on the let me know them maybe we can have a poll and see which one i'll make.

You were reading my mind. People are always asking me to lift the hood on the 67. I would sport a FORDification hold down. Hey if that pretty girl can sell her chest for advertising space on eBay, I can show a few Ford Truck lovers the way to the light.

You are spot on with the price. :D Sign me up for one.
