After market Radio?

Post by suavematt »

:hmm: How the heck does one mount an aftermarket Radio with a CD receiver etc.. into the stock location with that big ol' steel bracket there to mount the stock tape-deck radio, & also holds the heat/AC/vent controls... Should I just cut em' out with my sawzall  .. or is there an educated way to go about it?
Thanks :fr:

Here is how the volvo kit looks mounted. It is pretty easy to do.

It just mounts to your factory tabs. Hope that helps

Thanks for the Info/pics guys. :hmm: I guess the 78/79 are different then the 67-77 F-series.
My 79' has the A/C/ Heat/Vent controls up above the radio, in the same square hole & they both use the same one-piece metal bracketry... I'll get pics next week.
