Wire Harness

Has anyone put in an aftermarket wire harness? If so do the come with the conections on the ends to just hook up and go? Thank you for any info.

no i think it is just a pile of wires and you have to put your old plugs on the harness. thats alot of money to have to reuse your old plugs.

Check out RonFrancis and Painless products. They sell new fuse blocks and new wiring harnesses + fuse blocks. I know they have some that are application specific and some that are year/make/model specific. Not sure if there is a specific one for our trucks or not. I see the 12/18 circuit fuse blocks from painless on evilbay from time-to-time.

I have been wanting to snag an eighties non efi systems blade fuse block i think they are 8-12 fuses/circuits and if done right would fit in the stock location and hook straight up to the old harness unless you wated to run new wire following the original wires before removing them.
