The plans were to give the bottom-side one last good cleaning, hit it with some MetalReady in anticipation of the POR-15 and then rinse it off and let it set till tomorrow to fully dry, and then to do the application tomorrow. However, since it was about 95* today with a light breeze, everything dried out a lot faster than I'd anticipated, so I bit the bullet and went ahead and got it done. Here's the before picture:

I THOUGHT I'd ordered the semi-gloss POR-15, but that's DEFINITELY not what I got! Man, this stuff is shiny....and yes, this picture was taken with it fully dry:

While it was drying, I was getting some damned bugs gettin' stuck in it, so I tried taking a close-up picture of one. It didn't turn out, but when I was reviewing the pics on the digital camera, I noticed that I was getting a good reflection, so I took this pic just for the heck of it:

HEY! Is that the Virgin Mary in the upper right-hand corner??

Today I also coated the inner fenderwells and brackets, so those are ready to go. Tomorrow comes the milestone....the cab will be FINALLY bolted down for the last time, permanently.

I took some more pictures and will try to get a project update page posted tomorrow night with more of today's pics and some taken with the cab bolted down when I finish up tomorrow.
Damn it feels good to get to this point!
