Hi, i just currently installing an aftermarket deck in my truck and in the process i noticed there was no cable for Antannae, After some searching i found the cable under my seat and now i don't know how to or where to connect to get a radio signal, i know that the one end goes into the back of the deck but the other i'm not so sure of, i thought it might connect to the antannae and thats where i ran into my problem, i couldn't find any possible way of getting in under the cowl panel to get under where the antannae is . Any help is much appreciated
some trucks didnt come with anteenas. other did . some of them were put on the drivers side. most were put onthe passneger side cowl. if yours is in the cowl then up behind the glove box is where the anteena wire will be located at. any other anteena wire from under the seat is something someone else putthere becasue it was where they may have put an aftermarket radio. if you dont have a anteena in the cowl . i think you mihgt be able to buy a anteena extension wire. but maybe not. you can buy anteenas to go into the cowl. and run the wire the factory way from the hole behind the glove box.
You're gonna have to pull the heater box and passenger side fresh air vent out. Remove the glove box as well. There is a rubber plug that the antenna lead goes through, located in the corner of the dash. You have to pull the air vent out to gain access to the inner fender area.

you have to fish the wire through this hole. this is the views of inside of the glove box door withthe glove boxed removed. this is the passenger side of the glove box.

i found out how to do it on my own but thanx for the help anyway. i looked a bit more and found the hole there and took off the antannae and taped the antannae cable to a coat hanger and ran it through the hole, worked very well, definately very efficient and quick method of solving that problem
