New Gauges
I was wondering how much work is involved in changing out to new gauges in the truck. I am looking at http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-1300/?image=large to put in my 68 but not sure how much wiring would need to be done to make them work. I dont have the circuit on the back, i have the wire plugs. I currently have the cluster from a F600 but was wanting to see about putting in different gauges. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: New Gauges
i would guess that if they hook up or are the same type of gauges. electrical. then they should hook right up with no changes to the current wiring and plug that is on that cluster.

Hi Alvinator, those gauges you're looking at are very nice looking!
I'm in the process of doing roughly the same job on my truck. Although mine's a 1972 that originally had the circuit board dash, the things discussed in my thread might be of interest to you.
I'm taking a break from the job for a few more days and will return to it then. Here's the thread:

Re: New Gauges
putting the gauges in an f-600 cluster shouldn't be that difficult. The plug on the back of the existing cluster will have to be retained if you want a single connection point into the factury underdash harness.
As a metter of fact, i AM trying to keep up with the Jones'
